ABOUT US
The Canadian Sinfonietta Youth Orchestra (CSYO), previously known as the Toronto Cultural Youth Orchestra, has been a part of the Canadian Sinfonietta family since 2011.
For many years, the Canadian Sinfonietta has offered a youth mentorship program as a part of their season concerts. Many young music students have participated in this event,
and the CSYO is now home to many young talented musicians. In addition to numerous performance opportunities, members of the CSYO benefit from the guidance and experience of the professional musicians and mentors of the Canadian Sinfonietta.

CSYO plays for the Queen, 1997
Other than the annual Spring Concert, the Christmas Concert, and entertaining at many senior homes and
public venues, we had proudly performed for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, during her visit to
Toronto in 1997, at the Asian Heritage Month Festival, and for many years, at the Rogers Center, for the Canadian Airline International Chinese New Year Festival.
We are a non-profit organization.
